My name is Grace Douglas (she/her) and I am a clinical herbalist. I am also a gardener, crafter, medicine maker, and primitive skills enthusiast. I live on Washington state in Lummi, Samish, and Nooksack territory.

In my work as an herbalist, I feel it is important to consider the whole person; physical, emotional, and mental. My time with clients is curated to their needs and goals and is a partnership between the two of us.

My role as an herbal practitioner is to support the body’s innate ability to heal. I am here as an educator and partner, to offer guidance and recommendations, while focusing on herbs, lifestyle, and nutrition. I don’t prescribe diets or restriction and aim to offer a safe and non-judgemental space. It is my intent to meet you where you are at and work together to achieve your personal goals related to your health and well-being. As an herbalist, I do not treat, diagnose, or cure, but rather educate and provide you, the client, with tools to support and achieve your goals.

I am specialize in supporting individuals dealing with adrenal fatigue, nervous system disregulation, hormonal imbalances, digestive complaints. However, my knowledge extends beyond these areas, and I welcome individuals from all experiences.

I have been trained as a clinical herbalist from the Vermont Center for Integrative Herbalism and I am building my clinical hours to become a registered herbalist through the American Herbalist Guild. I have also attended Wildroot Botanical School and The School of Evolutionary Herbalism. In the 10+ years of studying herbalism, I have been fortunate to have many wonderful teachers along the way, including Sajah and Whitney Popham, Michael Pilarski, Ryan Drum, Leslie Lekos, Michael and Leslie Tierra, and more.

Client Testimonials

  • Grace’s warm presence and attention made our consultations feel nourishing in and of themselves. Grace was thorough in her thoughtful questions and in reflecting back to me what she was hearing, and understood the process of herbal healing as collaborative between the herbalist and the person seeking herbs. I came to Grace for her expertise while engaged in my own process of herbal learning, and Grace’s compassionate and grounded way of being felt honoring to the knowledge that I brought of my body and what I was seeking. Grace was attentive and understanding about helping me create herbal routines that were possible to integrate with my lifestyle, with appointment follow-up information that included information on specific herbs and formulas and recipes. Thank you Grace!
